Growing up, Safiya was overly independent, often feeling that tasks were best accomplished alone. As a child, she naturally stepped in leadership roles, but quickly became exhausted due to the lack of support from her team. It was through her studies in mathematics that she learned the invaluable lesson of teamwork and the significance of peer support. Mathematics taught her that complex problems are best solved through collaboration, a lesson that reshaped her approach to leadership and cooperation.
Currently, Safiya's dedication to academics and extracurricular activities shines through her impressive achievements. As a recipient of the prestigious King's InterHigh merit scholarship, she has demonstrated excellent academic performance, complemented by high predicted grades and stellar IGCSE results. Beyond academics, she has authored a research paper on economics, set to be published soon, and founded an outreach program for girls in Kazakhstan, focusing on financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Additionally, Safiya is a classically trained pianist, has interned at Jabbar Holding as a Social Media Manager, and served as a writer and editor for the King's Chronicle, showcasing her diverse talents and commitment to making a positive impact.
