Chloe is a skilled equestrian athlete with substantial experience in horse investment and the volunteer rehabilitation of retired racehorses. She is planning to study finance with the goal of entering the field of investment banking while continuing her passion for equestrian pursuits.
As a child, Chloe got lost at Disneyland after her brother failed to meet her outside the bathroom. Alone and frightened, she sought help from a park ranger. Despite not knowing her mom’s contact details, her family found her, teaching Chloe to always seek help when needed. This lesson echoed later when Chloe fell in love with a horse beyond their budget. Her mom advised that if it was meant to be, te horse would return. Skeptical, Chloe focused on her training, only to be stunned when the horse returned months later. This time, Chloe was involved in showing the horse for sale, learning the importance of preparation and seizing opportunities, reinforcing the belief that what’s meant for you will find its way back.
Chloe is a nationally ranked competitive equestrian, within the top 75, and a successful investor, having grossed over $220,000 from 2022 to 2024 through buying and leasing horses. She dedicates her time to the rehabilitation of retired racehorses, providing them with a second chance at life. Academically, Chloe is committed to a challenging schedule that includes AP Biology, Honors Spanish, and Honors Pre-Calculus, as well as courses in Drawing and Painting, AT World History, and American Literature. She is also an active member of the FLINT leadership program. Serving as the captain of her school’s equestrian team and engaging in stock and horse trading, Chloe demonstrates strong leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit both in and outside the classroom.
Chloe is eager to forge lasting, meaningful connections at a prestigious university, seeking peers who will challenge and inspire her growth. She is convinced that such an environment will not only fulfill her academic and professional ambitions but also lead her to a rewarding and exciting career path.
