From being an overthinker to becoming confident and optimistic individual, Calvin’s journey demonstrates that transformation is possible. His passion for tennis and interest in technology drive him to leverage these interests in the business industry, with aspirations in business and technology.
Throughout Calvin’s tennis journey, his intense training and compeititve play have enabled him to develop skills that contributed to his transformation. After losing a match he could have won, Calvin realized that regret was pointless and that he needed to focus on improving his weakness and putting in more effort next time. Additionally, Calvin began to accept his failures and view them as stepping stones on his path to success. His continuous effort throughout his tennis journey has taught him the importance of patience and how failutes can be pivotal in the path to success.
In school, Calvin was the president of his homeroom class and volunteered in several school events and ceremonies. He was part of the basketball and mountaineering clubs, participating in various activities and retreats. For the past five years, Calvin has consistently ranked in the top 3 of his grade, maintaining high scores in Math and Science. He is an active member of both the basketball and mountaineering clubs and has been involved in his school’s student council organization. Calvin plays tennis frequently and has won several national tournaments, while also representing Indonesia in a few international tournaments.
In the future, Calvin aims to attend top universities and work at leading investment banking firms, with the goal of using technology to enhance businesses in Indonesia.
