Aneesh, a national-level chess player with a FIDE rating of 1521, has always been driven by an inquisitive and curious nature, particularly towards the natural sciences. After living in the United States for eight years, Aneesh moved to India, where he was struck by the inadequate state of medical care, especially in rural areas. Determined to make a difference, he founded Project Auxilia, a pioneering initiative aimed at improving preventative healthcare in underserved regions.


Through Project Auxilia, Aneesh has educated over 300 people across various villages about preventative healthcare and facilitated the construction of over five schools with access to clean water. This project underscores his commitment to enhancing community health and wellbeing.


In school, Aneesh serves as the president of the medical club, where he mentors aspiring doctors, helping them move closer to their goals. His fascination with computer science and technology fuels his ambition to revolutionize medicine with artificial intelligence. He envisions AI-driven advancements in diagnostics and treatment plans, making healthcare more accessible and efficient. An avid hackathon enthusiast, Aneesh has won over five worldwide hackathons sponsored by various tech startups, demonstrating his knack for innovative problem-solving.


Balancing a rigorous academic schedule, Aneesh excels in his studies while actively engaging in extracurricular activities. His achievements in both his personal interests and societal contributions exemplify a well-rounded and forward-thinking individual. Aneesh aspires to further his education in medicine, aiming to integrate his knowledge with technology to create impactful advancements in healthcare.


Through his varied experiences and proactive initiatives, Aneesh embodies the belief that innovation and compassion can coexist, striving to make a tangible difference in the world around him. For him, life truly begins when he saves one, a mantra that fuels his ambition to become a doctor.
