Growing up in the heart of Central Asia, a crossroads of talents and innovation, Alibek developed a strong passion for aviation and business. Surrounded by a diverse and driven community, he gained a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, and in turn, shaping his curiosity, grit, and global mindset.
One of Alibek’s most meaningful lessons came through travel, where he observed how people from different backgrounds express themselves differently – some with quiet respect, others more assertively. This taught him that understanding other people means understanding where they come from. Recognising the value of empathy and cultural awareness has shaped the way Alibek leads and learns.
Academically, Alibek holds a perfect 4.0 GPA and is pursuing the AP Capstone Diploma, with eight different AP classes. He has twice received the U.S. President’s Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. He was elected as the vice president of the Student Council, the school’s largest student-led organisation with over 70 active members, and is the student representative to his school’s headquarters in Malta, voicing student concerns and ideas. He is also a proud member of the National Honor Society. Beyond academics, Alibek is the founder of an aviation-focused podcast and website that educates aspiring students in Central Asia on careers in aviation and travel
With a strong foundation in academics and leadership, Alibek aspires to attend a top business school with a focus on travel and hospitality management, aiming to drive innovation in the aviation industry worldwide.
